Guest House has a Studebaker connection

Studebaker wood cratesParts crate wood from Spicer, Division of Dana to Studebaker Truck Division.  This was before 1964.

Much of this wood has actual worm holes and when found some had the chewed up leftovers which I sealed with polyurethane and wood glue.      Spicer-Dana supplied supplied steering gears, rear ends differentials, etc.       Later it was called Dana-Spicer Corp.

Three attendance pins were found, one 5 year and two 10 year.

It is said the value of these pins is $2.00 per year. $10.00 for the 5 year and $20 each for the 10 year = $50.
